Rename Folder

Rename Folder feature enables the user to relocate all tools within a folder to another user specified folder. This process will save the tools in the new location and will redirect ANY tool in the root folder that referred to these tools to now refer to the same tools in its new location. In this way all tools in the root folder will remain intact.

Note:

1. All inputs within those relocated tools will be changed, however configuration files will not be saved to allow reverse of action.

2. Some of the changes are irreversible after renaming a folder (such as make table tool), therefore it is highly recommended that user should make a backup copy of Root folder before use Rename Folder tool.

3. Rename Folder DOES NOT relocate 3D view, Charts or Table views. They will have be relocated to new destination folder manually.

4. The process of redirecting the tools to the new location may also affect tools outside of the folder that is renamed

example of rename folder 'Rename test 1' to 'Rename test 2' under sub-folder name 'Rename test 3'.
