The root folder

The root folder contains all the inner workings of mXrap and generally will contain the following;

Data folder: A folder for various site specific data files. This may include sensor files, surveys, Map3D files etc. These files provide the data that is used in conjunction with the seismic database by the tools in the settings folder.  mXrap can use data sources from any location accessible from the mXrap machine.  It is advisable to keep the necessary data files in the data folder as this will enable easy transferability.  mXrap will use a relative file path when files are located inside the root folder.  Copying the root folder and the data files to a new location will then not result in any loss of connection.

Points folder: Provides images for different marker styles.

Settings folder: This contains the categories and tools to enable analysis in mXrap. This folder can be modified and expanded though the Settings Window.
